Chinese manufacturer ZTE is reportedly working on a handset named Zmax Pro. According to VentureBeat , the upcoming smartphone is headed to T-Mobile. However, no details regarding price or availability have been revealed. In terms of specifications, the device is said to include a 6-inch Full HD display and is said to be powered by a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon 617 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It will include internal storage of 32GB and there has been no mention regarding expandable storage. One can also expect a 13MP rear camera along with a 5MP front-facing camera. This smartphone might also feature a fingerprint scanner. Recently, the US Commerce Department is set to place export restrictions on Chinese telecom equipment maker ZTE for alleged violations of U.S. export controls on Iran, according to documents seen by Reuters. The restrictions will make it difficult for the company to acquire US products by requiring ZTE’s suppliers to apply for an export license before shipping any American-made equipment or parts to ZTE. According to a Commerce Department notice that will be published next week in the U.S. Federal Register, the license applications generally will be denied.
