ZTE to announce a new phone in the nubia line on 17 October

Chinese handset maker ZTE has said that it will be announcing a new smartphone on 17 October. The invite (in Mandarin) mentions nubia. So it is safe to assume that the phone will be from the nubia sub-brand of ZTE. There are no details as to what the exact device will be. Online speculations hint at a variant of nubia Z11 mini. Nubia Z11 mini S. Dual rear camera setup is touted to be the major feature. It is not known if there will be any major departure from the nubia Z11 mini. Earlier this year, ZTE has announced the **nubia Z11 Max** with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset and 4GB of RAM. Looks like there will be three back to back events in China on 17, 18, 19 October from ZTE, Huawei and Oppo respectively. Huawei is expected to release the **Honor 6X** on 18 October. The Honor 6X will replace the Honor 5X which was launched earlier this year. Honor 6X has leaked on TENAA. We are looking at a 5.5-inch FullHD display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset and a dual rear camera setup.
