Chinese smartphone and telecom equipment maker ZTE announced a new smartphone, or rather, a phablet, called the Grand X Max 2 in the United States. The smartphone is officially available via Cricket network, which is a pre-paid subsidiary of AT&T, for $200 (around Rs 13,200).

Featuring a 6-inch Full HD display, the smartphone’s USP is the dual lens arrangement of the camera, something which LG did with its G5 and Huawei with its P9. Apart from that, the handset comes with a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, the Snapdragon 617, and 2GB of RAM. The internal storage is 16GB along with support for microSD card up to 64GB in size. As mentioned earlier, there are two camera lenses at the back (13MP + 2MP) and a 5MP front snapper. The smartphone supports 4G LTE, Quick Charge 2.0, a 3,400 mAH battery, USB Type-C port and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. There is no confirmation on whether ZTE will be launching this smartphone in the Indian market.

It will be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery and will also sport a fingerprint sensor.
