ZTE launches Nubia Z9 with Snapdragon 810, 5.2-inch display, 16MP camera and more!

ZTE has unveiled its newest flagship smartphone - the Nubia Z9. The Nubia Z9 sports a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) CGS (Continuous Grain Silicon) display .It has a 2.5D OGS display and comes with an almost bezel-less design. The device comes powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC along with Adreno 430 GPU. The smartphone runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. On the camera front, it gets a 16MP rear camera with LED flash along with a Sony Exmor RS sensor. It also gets an 8MP front-facing camera with Sony Exmor R BSI sensor. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, MHL 3.0 and USB OTG. A 2,900mAh battery completes the package. Its a dual SIM smartphone and will be made available in three variants - Classic edition with 3GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage priced at 3499 Yuan (approx. Rs 36,100), Elite Edition with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage priced at Yuan 3999 (approx Rs 41,200) and the most premium top edition with 4GB RAM and fingerprint recognition at 4499 Yuan (approx Rs 46,400). The device will be available in China starting May 21. There is no word on its availability outside China, yet.
