ZenFocus launches myZenTAB 708B tablet for Rs 5,999

ZenFocus has launched the myZenTAB 708B, an entry-level tablet, with a seven-inch capacitive 5- point multitouch screen.

ZenFocus launches myZenTAB 708B tablet for Rs 5,999

ZenFocus has launched the myZenTAB 708B, an entry-level tablet, with a seven-inch capacitive 5- point multitouch screen. It has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and is packed in a plastic shell. This tablet is based on the Boxchip A13 chipset, and is powered by the Mali-400 graphics processing unit. It comes loaded with 512MB DDR3 RAM, Android version 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and supports Flash 11.1.

As per an official statement by the company, the myZenTAB 708B has a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and an external support for on-the-go (OTG) USB mouse and keyboard. It also supports 3G dongles. It has Wi-Fi support for 802.11 b/g/n. It also has internal storage of 4GB, and external memory expansion support of up to 3GB RAM.

“We worked very hard to build a product which is highly affordable for our customers. However, we did not want to compromise on the quality and did not add any unnecessary features which may not be needed.  This will start a revolution in India as we plan to come out with strong promotions on this tablet,” said Mike Dhall, CEO of ZenFocus.

myZenTAB 708B is currently available at a special festival promotion price of Rs 5,999 through distributors and dealers all over India.

Back in October, ZenFocus had launched its myZenTAB 708BH tablet. The tablet is aimed towards high end consumers and enterprise customers. It operates on Android v4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich), has built in Wi-Fi, and supports a 3G dongle.

myZenTAB708BH is the second generation tablet by ZenFocus with a 7-inch capacitive, 5-point touchscreen. It has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, and is packaged in a solid iron grey metallic shell. This tablet is based on Boxchip A10 chipset, and supported by Mali-400 Graphics Processor Unit. It comes loaded with 512 MB DDR3 RAM, and supports Flash 11.1.

myZenTAB 708BH has a front camera of 0.3MP and external support for a USB mouse and a keyboard. It has built Wi-Fi support for 802.11 b/g/n. It carries internal storage of 8GB NAND Flash and external memory expansion support of 32GB. It comes with HDMI TV-out support with 1080p.

Its other functions include dictionary, calculator, 3D games, and a range of Android applications. The tab has the potential to last for four hours of Wi-Fi browsing and five hours of video gaming.
