Yu Yuphoria price slashed to Rs 6499, now runs Android 5.0 Lollipop

Yu Televentures has announced a price cut of Rs 500 for its Yu Yuphoria smartphone smartphone in India. The device will now be available at Rs 6,499 from Amazon India. In addition, the smartphone now runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box instead of Android Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12 custom ROM. The smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1080 pixels resolution with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Yu Yuphoria smartphone comes with metal frame. It comes with an app theme that allows users to customise the look and feel of the device. Also, users can expect a Truecaller integrated dialler. The device is 8.25mm in thickness and weighs 143 grams. Under the hood, it gets a true 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 2GB RAM. It also gets 16GB onboard storage. The dual SIM smartphone supports most sensors found in flagship devices. It also supports Bluetooth and 4G LTE. “YU Yuphoria offers an impressive package at Rs 6,999 and at this price point, the Yuphoria’s design does manage to stand out from competition.
