After a lot of speculation and a number of teasers, Yu Televentures has finally sent out invites for the launch of its upcoming flagship, that now finally has a name. Yu’s next flagship smartphone will be called the Yunicorn and it is expected to pack in the best hardware that the industry has on offer in order to keep up with Yu’s marketing, that is. The launch aside, we could not help notice how the launch of the Yunicorn has been scheduled just after the launch of the Motorola’s expected launch event for the Moto G4 and the G4 Plus. With Cyanogen now out of the way , it will indeed be interesting to see what Yu has on offer in its soon to be launched flagship device. We recently had a chat with Yu head, Rahul Sharma and he seems to given out plenty of clues as to what may be the core software feature in this upcoming smartphone. The company (Micromax) has been working its Around service that was earlier Yu’s AroundYU service. The newer version being more refined and polished that the previous one. Yu could have the company’s Around platform deeply integrated into the Yunicorn and this is more so because the company already had to work on their non-Cyanogen OS firmware from scratch.
