YouTube Android app now allows users to schedule their live streams

The world’s most popular video-sharing website YouTube has added the functionality of scheduling live streams for later on its Android app. YouTube introduced **mobile live streaming** capabilities for a limited number of YouTube creators last year. Reuters[/caption] This new feature is self-explanatory as pointed out by Android Authority. While going live a new ‘Schedule for later’ toggle will show up and upon clicking it you will be shown a date and time for scheduling your live streams. That is pretty much it. YouTube will give out a notification to remind you at the scheduled time of the live stream. Going live has become very common on nearly all the major social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. This comes months after YouTube rolled out one of the most  comprehensive revamps in recent history. YouTube added the ability to control the playback speed of videos in its mobile app with this revamp. The revamped YouTube app included a clean design language, gestures that can move the video around along with the ability to perform functionalities like rewind or fast-forward using gestures.
