Xplore introduces iWoofer iPod Speaker

Xplore, acclaimed to be India’s first and only digital experience lounge located at Lamington Road, Mumbai, is displaying the iWoofer, a speaker system for the iPod. The product, made by Rain Design, looks like an alien head and will be available for trial to curious techies for the next 30 days. iWoofer, although specially designed for the iPod Nano, is also compatible with all the versions of iPod from second generation onwards, the iPod shuffle, and also for playback with Video iPod and mini. Additionally, it also doubles up as an FM receiver. The sleek, pearl white colored instrument is designed to make a striking impression on the eyes as well as the ears, with its distinctive sci-fi yet friendly look. It houses a down firing subwoofer with smallest iPod speakers. It runs on four AA batteries, but can also be plugged into a power socket. Xplore is a joint initiative of Mumbai based mEssence Consulting and Services and Neoteric Infomatique, one of India’s leading IT value-added distribution companies.
