Xperia X10's 'Mango Update' Leaks

After what seems to be an eternity, the Xperia smartphone that was leaked way back at the end of December seems to have come out of nowhere again. The latest news is that this smartphone will succeed the Xperia X10 and has been codenamed Mango.

The smartphone (which might be called the Xperia Duo) equipped with a QWERTY slider is said to be running on Android Gingerbread and a small-screen User Interface by Sony Ericsson on top. There are shortcuts on the four corners of the screen, but apparently each of these options have shortcuts (like a folder with sub-options). Also, the handset is powered by a Qualcomm processor, which might be clocking at somewhere around 800 MHz to 1 GHz.

Other leaked specifications of the Xperia Duo include a 3-inch touchscreen with an HVGA resolution. Lastly, the handset is said to have a 5 Megapixel camera with HD video.
