Chinese electronics and smartphone market Xiaomi posted a tweet on its official Twitter handle teasing the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year after the launch of Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+, OnePlus 5, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and others. The teaser picture left Xiaomi followers waiting for more in terms of teasers before the launch of the device. The tweet included a picture of a bezel-less smartphone screen with a satellite positioned on it, against an outer space background.
As per the tweet, it can be said that the phone will come with bezel-less display going ahead of its elder sibling Mi Mix, which was the trailblazer of the bezel-less culture. It seems that the new phone may go ahead with the bezel-less display to 'outer space'.
The smartphone is expected to unveil on 11 September in Beijing, China. This launch is scheduled to take place a day before the launch of Apple iPhone 8. The phone is expected to pack a dual camera setup and would come with 3D face recognition. It will come with MIUI9.
As per previous reports, it is expected to run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 836, and come powered by Android Oreo 8.0. Other details point towards a 6.2-inch screen with a 2960x1440 pixel resolution and 4,400 mAh battery. There are hints that Xiaomi will launch a 256 Gb internal storage variant.

Other than the new flagship Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi had also officially teased the Mi Note 3 which is quite likely to release alongside Mi Mix 2.
Previously, Xiaomi India Vice President Manu Kumar Jain had also shared a teaser image of the Mi Mix 2 on his personal Twitter handle, hinting that the phone could find its way to Indian Markets as well this year. Although, it is yet to be seen.
In terms of specifications, the Mi Note 3 is expected to pack in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and come with 6 GB of RAM. However, this time round Xiaomi is rumoured to have ditched LG as the makers of the display for the phone. The Mi Note 3 display is expected to be a QHD Super AMOLED panel made by Samsung.
