Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone, the Mi 5 is finally going to come in Gold and Black colour options in India as confirmed by the company itself. The handset was launched back in April where the company only launched the White version with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM.
Mi India confirmed this information on twitter yesterday where it said that the Black and Gold colour variants will be coming to India very soon. Another tweet from the company confirmed that the black variant is indeed going on sale on Flipkart starting today, 24 June.

For a quick update the Mi 5 features a 5.15-inch full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. There is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of built-in storage. The cameras include a 16MP unit at the back and a 4MP unit on the front for selfies. The battery is rated at 3,000mAh with quick charge 3.0.Other features include a fingerprint sensor, a dual SIM capability, 4G LTE, USB Type-C, NFC and an Infrared blaster port.
The handset is currently selling through a variety of third-party retailers including Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, and TataCLIQ apart from Xiaomi’s online Mi India Store.
