Soon after Delhi High Court lifted the ban (partially) on Xiaomi devices under certain terms, the company's Redmi Note 4G is all set to go on sale on December 30.
Mi India has sent out a tweet from its official handle, revealing that the registrations for the 4G variant of the Redmi Note will start today at 6PM and the device will be up for grabs in the usual flash sale manner on Flipkart on December 30 at 2PM.

Ericsson had accused Xiaomi of infringing upon eight of its patents including AMR, EDGE and 3G technologies. Following the accusation, the Delhi High Court passed an injunction against Xiaomi barring it from selling devices in India. However, the ban has been lifted partially and the company is permitted to sell Qualcomm-based Redmi 1s and Redmi Note 4G for a specified period.
The 3G variant that had been selling before the court injunction runs on a MediaTek SoC, so the company is still legally bound to withhold its sales in India. The 4G variant was earlier slated to launch somewhere around mid-December.
Priced at Rs 9,999, the Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display and comes powered by 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 processor. Other specs include 8GB onboard storage, microSD card slot up to 32GB, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front shooter for selfies and 3100mAh battery. It runs Xiaomi’s MIUI OS. The Redmi Note, if you recall, is something of a record breaker in terms of sales, with Xiaomi having sold 10,000 units in just a second in Taiwan.
