Xiaomi refutes the existence of Mi MIX Nano

Xiaomi recently **launched Mi MIX** , a new smartphone with one of the most interesting designs for mobile devices in the year. Mi MIX, dubbed as ‘concept smartphone’ was launched late last month with a phablet-sized form factor. The most significant thing about the device was the fact that it has almost no bezels. We were saddened by the fact that the device will not be making its way to Indian markets officially through Xiaomi. Instead, the consumers will have to buy the smartphone using third party channels like Alibaba or relatives and other ways. Reports emerged yesterday that the company is working on a smaller version of the Mi MIX, called the **Mi MIX Nano** . There were some leaked images pointing out at the possibility that the company is working on the smaller 5.5-inch variant along with 64GB internal storage. Rest of the specifications will be similar to what we have seen in Mi MIX. Today Xiaomi refuted the claims that it is working on the smaller variant. Zang Zhiyuan, the marketing director for Xiaomi posted the clarification on Webio. He addressed the issue point blank by clarifying that “There’s no such product as Xiaomi Mi MIX Nano” as reported by Mydrivers.com. This marks a blow to people who were expecting a smaller and cheaper Mi MIX device with no bezels.
