However, no details regarding availability has been shared. In terms of design, the smartphone offers a metal body along with a textured rear panel.

Xiaomi has officially launched its Redmi 3 smartphone at a price of CNY 699 (approximately Rs. 7,000). The device is available on Mi.com and Tmall and will go on sale in China starting tomorrow. No details regarding availability of the smartphone have been announced. In terms of design, the smartphone offers a metal body along with a textured rear panel. It will be available in gold, grey and silver color variants. Xiaomi Redmi 3 back mix On the specifications front, the smartphone features a 5-inch display with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, paired with 2GB RAM. It sports an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The selfie camera also supports full-HD recording. The dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM also includes connectivity features such as Bluetooth, GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, GPRS/EDGE, Micro-USB, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. One of the major highlights of the smartphone is its 4100mAh non removable battery. With a battery density of 685Wh/L, which extends the talk time of its predecessor by reportedly 80 percent, the Redmi 3 comes with support for 5V/2A fast charging as well.
