Xiaomi Mi Power Bank, other accessories available for pre-order on Flipkart

Update: The Xiaomi 5200mAh Power bank is now listed for pre-order on Flipkart for Rs 799. Xiaomi has also put up a screen protector and flip covers for pre-order on  Flipkart . The flip covers are available for Rs 559 each, while the screen protector will cost Rs 179.   After taking Flipkart by storm with its flagship Mi3 smartphone, Xiaomi has introduced headphones, screen protectors, portable chargers and flip covers on the website, all at rock-bottom prices.   The Mi power bank, with a battery size of 10400mAh is priced at just Rs 999 on Flipkart . Xiaomi claims it can recharge the Mi3 2.5 times. While the iPhone 5s can be recharged 4.5 times with the fully-charged Mi power bank. It’s super cheap considering that’s about the cost of a 2200 mAh power bank. It supports all Mi smartphones and tablets, as well as those from Apple, HTC, Google and Blackberry and digital cameras and handheld gaming devices. The sleek power bank also claims to be water and corrosion-resistant. It’s also available in a 5200mAh version retailing at Rs 799, but (surprise, surprise!) both products are currently out of stock. Which is strange as Xiaomi had only announced these products at launch and were never really selling them on Flipkart as such.   Other accessories include in-ear headphones for Rs 999 , which might be a useful purchase considering the Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone doesn’t supply headphones. The headphones come with a microphone for answering phone calls. They are snugly packaged in a see-through box, quite reminiscent of Apple’s trademark Earpods.   The Mi3 screen protector claims to be scratch-resistant and comes with a free practice film. Xiaomi’s exclusive flip-cover for the Mi3 doubles up as a stand and claims to be water-resistant. The Mi3 screen protector and flip cover are priced at Rs 179 and Rs 559 respectively – all currently out of stock.
