Xiaomi Mi Piston Fresh and Mi Headphones officially announced

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi recently announced the Piston 3 Pro and Mi Sports Bluetooth headset and it seems that we have more audio products coming in. The company has just announced an affordable pair of earphones and over-the-ear headphones. The Xiaomi Mi Piston Fresh are very similar to the Piston 3 Pro, coming in a number of colour options including black, silver, blue, purple and pink. The company claims that the earphones feature a metal chamber made out of anodized aluminum alloy which has been passed through a sandblasting process to make it scratch-resistant and anti-fingerprint. The ear tips made out of silicon come in small and large sizes.  The earphones feature a 3rd generation system that uses separate air flow for front and rear chambers. With this, air enters through the front chamber and leaves through the rear chamber. It also features a damping system to optimize the tri-band performance of the earphones. There is an in-line control that features a microphone and a button for playing or pausing music and answering or ending calls.  The earphones are basically a budget alternative to the high-end Piston Pro having a price tag of just 29 Yuan (Rs 280 approx). Moving on to the Mi Headphones, these have a clean and minimalistic design unlike the flashy ones that were launched last year. It is made out of a polycarbonate shell and comes in three colour options including white, orange and mint. The ear muffs are made out of silicon covered with a high-grade PU leather. The headphones feature a closed sound chamber design that helps eliminate the outside noise. The speaker inside the headphone offers an impedance of 32 ohms and feature a built-in damping system which helps in less distortion and absorbing of internal acoustic waves on the diaphragm. The headphones also come with Japanese Hi-Res audio-quality certification. This also comes with a built-in microphone and controller just like the Mi Piston Fresh. The Mi Headphone are priced at 199 Yuan (Rs 1,950 approx).
