According to a report by Gizmochina, Xiaomi took to its Weibo account to release the teaser which finally reveals that the launch will take place in Shanghai on 27 March. Apart from revealing the venue for the launch, the teaser also gives us a hint of the design of the Mi Mix 2S.

Based on what we make of the image, the Mi Mix 2S will feature thin bezels on the top, right and left, suggesting that the front-camera placement will be on the bottom bezel, something we saw on its predecessor. Overall, compared to the Mi Mix 2, we should not be expecting too many changes in terms of design here.

Reports have gone so far as to say that the Mi Mix 2S may actually be faster than the recently launched Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus, Asus ZenFone 5Z, and Sony Xperia XZ2. We shall know more as we head closer towards the launch date of the phone, which is incidentally clashing with the launch of the Huawei P20 series smartphones.
