Xiaomi Mi 6X spotted with a dual camera on TENNA may be an upgrade to the Android One-powered Mi A1

**Xiaomi** recently launched Redmi 5 and is ready **to launch Mi Mix 2S**  on 27 March but another smartphone by Xiaomi has been spotted online. The smartphone’s specifications and image have now been revealed online and is expected to be called as Mi 6X by the company for the China market. [caption id=“attachment_4406101” align=“alignleft” width=“380”]Xiaomi’s expected Mi 6X image by TENNA. Xiaomi’s expected Mi 6X image by TENNA.[/caption] The specifications of the smartphone along with the images were  spotted on TENNA (Chinese regulator) suggesting that the device bears a model number M1804D2SE. The details of the listing reveal that it will come with a 5.99-inch display and will be powered by a 2,910 mAh battery. It is expected to run “Android” according to the listing, so it isn’t clear whether we would soon see an Android One version arrive in India anytime soon. According to a report on G_izmochina_, the smartphone resembles the recently launched Xiaomi **Redmi Note 5 Pro** and the U-shapped antennas around top and bottom ends look very similar to the  Mi A1  (India) or the Mi 5X (China). The images of the smartphone show a vertically placed dual camera with flash in between on the rear side of the smartphone that looks very similar to the unit on the **Redmi Note 5 Pro** . The fingerprint sensor has also been placed on the back of the device. [caption id=“attachment_4406113” align=“alignnone” width=“940”]Expected Mi 6X leaked on TENNA. The front screen of the Mi 6x appears completely black, which is makes it a bit difficult to tell whether it will sport a taller 18:9 display like on the Note 5 Pro. The report suggests that the smartphone will come in other colour variants apart from the red one seen in the TENNA images. It will be interesting to see if Xiaomi brings a stock Android (Android One) version of the smartphone as seen with its predecessor the Mi A1 . Good imaging capabilities of the Redmi Note 5 Pro and stock Android will be good combination if priced reasonably. There is no official information about the launch of the smartphone from Xiaomi.
