Xiaomi Mi 4c arrives in China; features 5-inch display, Snapdragon 808 and more

Finally, Xiaomi has officially pulled the wraps off the Mi 4c in Beijing, China. The ‘C’ probably stands for the USB Type-C port support seen in the device, also seen in the recently launched OnePlus 2. It is the first Xiaomi smartphone to feature USB Type-C port and it also packs in a microUSB to USB Type-C converter. This means a normal microUSB charger can also be used to charge the device. On the specs front, one can expect a 5-inch Full HD IPS display. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 808 MSM8992 hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz and coupled with 2GB of RAM. The 32GB variant comes with 2GB RAM, but users can expect a 32GB variant with 3GB of RAM. Users will also get a 13MP primary camera. A 3,080mAh battery completes the package. It will be shipped in the traditional Xiaomi orange recycled packaging. The 16GB model with 2GB RAM is priced at RMB 1299 (approx Rs 13,421) in China, and the 32GB model with 3GB RAM at RMB 1499 (approx Rs 15,500).
