Xiaomi has launched the Mi TV 4A in the 32-inch and 43-inch, form factor in India wherein the 32-inch variant will be priced for as low as Rs 13,999 and the 43-inch for Rs 22,999.
Both the TV variants will be sold at Mi.com and Flipkart starting from March 13. Xiaomi has said that the Mi TV 4A will be sold every Tuesday and Friday. Xiaomi has struck a partnership with Jio to provide an additional cashback of Rs 2,200 on the purchase of JioFi.
The interesting addition to this TV is a support for voice control. The remote for this TV has an additional microphone button. Design wise both the variants of the Mi TV 4A have very thin bezels which gives the TV more screen space.
The remote control comes with artificial intelligence voice control which lets you switch between remotes using voice command. The layout of the remote control gets an additional button below the power button.
In terms of specifications, the 43-inch Mi TV 4A comes with a Full HD display resolution with HDR 10 support while the 32-inch has an HD resolution without an HDR support. It has a 60 Hz refresh rate, a static contrast ratio of 5000:1 and comes with direct type backlight.
On the inside, you have a quad-core 64-bit Amlogic T962 processor which is clocked at 1.5 GHz along with a Mali 450 GPU. This is paired with 2 GB RAM and you get 8 GB of eMMC storage for the 43-inch variant while there is 1 GB of RAM for the 32-inch variant. Both the TV's like the Mi TV 4 run on the PatchWall OS.
Xiaomi will be providing 500,000 hours of content in partnership with Hotstar, Voot, SonyLIV, Hungama, TVF and more. There is also support for UHD HLG along with Dolby Vision compatibility. In terms of connectivity, you get Bluetooth 4.2 and you can connect the TV to Bluetooth headsets or speakers as well.
