Xiaomi crowdfunding app hints at launch of a sleeping mattress

Xiaomi’s crowdfunding campaign is all geared up to unveil yet another product tomorrow and after the Lunar Smart Sleep sensor , this one’s getting closer to users than ever before. As per the app, the new product is a sleeping mattress. According to teaser posters, the new product will be launched in China on 6 December. The product will not be a smart bed (like may would expect) but is a simple one, that just offers owners a good night’s sleep.  The new mattress will be made from a special material that will keep bugs away and will also be soft and lightweight (making it easier to transport). But the price is expected to be the real highlight. GizmoChina reports that the new mattress will be cheaper than the currently available 8H Latex mattress M1 one. The new mattress would be 56th product using Xiaomi crowdfunding and comes after the launch of the Lunar Smart Sleep Sensor. The sensor is a pebble-sized device that is said to monitor the sleep pattern of users. The sensor can be placed close to the user inside a pillow when it analyzes the user’s sleep quality and provides sleep reports using the mobile app. It works on Android smartphones (version 4.0 and higher) and iPhones (iOS 8.0 and up). It also a zero radiation device.
