Xiaomi India has just announced two new portable chargers - 16000mAh Mi Power bank at Rs 1,399 and 5000mAh Mi Power Bank at Rs 699 respectively. Both the devices will go on sale starting June 9 via the Mi store. The company is currently running a poll on its Facebook India page to ask users which power bank should go on sale first. The poll ends on June 2. Similar to previous Mi power banks, the new chargers will spot an aluminum case. In terms of specifications, the 16,000mAh Mi power bank will include dual USB ports featuring Li-ion battery cells encased in an aluminum casing. According to the company, the device can fully charge a Redmi Note 4G, 3.5 times; a iPhone 6, 5 times; and a iPad mini 2.5 times. The device measures 145×60.4×22mm and weighs 350 grams and delivers a conversion rate of up to 93 percent. On the other hand, the 5000mAh Mi Power Bank features a single USB port with a lithium-ion polymer battery cells. Xiaomi states that this power bank has been designed for day to day use. The device can also offer 5.1V/2.1A output along with one full charge for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. This month, Xiaomi also unveiled the **Mi 10,000mAh Power Bank** in China, a newer and slimmer version of the company’s 10,400mAh Power Bank which was launched August 2014. The device is now available on the Mi website in red, silver and Champagne colour variants. It is priced at CNY 69 (approximately Rs 711). According to the company, the high density batteries’ import value has been reduced by 21.4 percent. It is almost similar in size to a business card and has a 30 percent increase in energy density. In terms of dimensions, the Mi 10,000mAh power bank is 60.4mm-wide and weighs 207 grams.
