Xiaomi is all set to release its 1080p Smart IP camera on 4 August 2017. The companyand a leaked picture of the device has surfaced online.
According to the leaked image on Chinese technology website mydrivers.com, the camera will sport a rectangular box-like design with a big camera on the front and a circular base. You will find a USB port on the back of the camera so that you can transfer the videos that you have recorded to an external hard disk or USB drive.
The report by mydrivers.com also packs a specifications sheet. The specs sheet confirms that the camera can rotate a full-360 degree horizontally at a speed of 110 degrees per second. The camera also has vertical rotation capability till 93 degrees. However, the design doesn't indicate on how the vertical rotation works in the 1080P Smart IP camera.
The camera has a 120-degree wide-angle lens with 17-mm focal length along with the ability to shoot videos in 1080p resolution. Xiaomi has packed an '18-grade gray reduction' night vision. The company has not announced any pricing details for this upcoming camera at the time of writing. The camera will be available on Xiaomi's official online store and be limited to the Chinese market. We are not certain about if or when the camera will make its way to the international market.
This news comes right after Xiaomi's Mi Max 2 phone went on sale in India. The first sale took place today at 10 AM on online as well as offline stores in the country as part of a weekly sale.
