It’s no secret that the Xbox One will have a lot of non-gaming features. A new one, however, is a fitness app, called Xbox Fitness. Details about the app popped up for a bit on the official Xbox One website, but the page was quickly pulled down. However, DualPixels managed to grab a screenshot of the app.
Interestingly, Xbox Fitness will be a subscription-based service. It will cost users a monthly free to use. However, those with Xbox Gold subscriptions don’t have to pay anything extra to use the app until November 2014, when the app will start its subscription model.

Who says gamers are unhealthy?
Xbox Fitness will use the new Kinect sensor to get biometric information about you, and help you use it for further workouts. The biometric data includes pulse, muscle map and energy levels.
The app will feature popular trainers, such as Jillian Michaels, Tracy Anderson, Tony Horton and Shaun Thompson. Microsoft is yet to reveal all the details about it, or even announce it for that matter, but we expect an official unveiling as we get closer to the Xbox One launch date.
Here’s the full description, courtesy of DualPixels: “Introducing the future of fitness. Experience the world’s best workouts with instant, personalized feedback, right in your home on Xbox Fitness. Train with Jillian Michaels, Tracy Anderson, P90X, Insanity and more. Optimize every workout with immediate feedback on your form, power and heart rate with the all new Kinect, featuring Muscle Mapping, Power Gauge, and Pulse. Plus, feed your motivation with social challenges. Unlimited access is yours with an Xbox Live Gold membership through November 2014. Only on Xbox One.”
Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
