World of Goo, the mind bending 2D platformer from 2D Boy is now heading to iPad real soon according to the company’s blog . That is as soon as Apple approves it for the App Store, which 2D is hoping is before the Holiday season.
Gooey fun for everyone
The iPad version, the price of which hasn’t been revealed yet will feature multiplayer as it “supports 11 fingers on the display simultaneously”. 2D isn’t too sure if they’ll be releasing the game for the iPhone/iPod Touch as they don’t want to release the game on those platforms unless it runs “absolutely buttery smooth”.
In case you’ve missed World of Goo on the PC, Wii or Mac when it released sometime in 2008, you should definitely check it out when it comes to the pad as the game was practically made for touchscreen gameplay.
