Reliance ADA group has launched Zapakgirls.com , for women in the world of online casual gaming.

Zapakgirls.com claims to offer international quality games with simple, yet challenging gameplay. The genres of games available on Zapakgirls.com include Strategy, Puzzles and Arcade, along with games such as Diner Dash 2 and Plantasia.

The website also includes a special audio-visual tarot forecast and specialized forums, dedicated to women. Other features are Fashion Forecasting by Indian designers and fashion forecasters, expert advice on topics like Ayurveda (Dr. Shailendra) and Allopathy (Dr. Manju Sachdev) and an audio-visual series on cooking, car care and self defense techniques.

Upcoming features on Zapakgirls.com include a special section on women achievers, and a weekly section on girls who have done something remarkable. The site will also host regular contests and community features for women.

Rohit Sharma, COO, Zapak Digital Entertainment Limited said, “In the US, women constitute over 50% of the online casual gaming community. They prefer games requiring lesser instructions and time to play. It’s time we pampered this segment. According to reports tracking the activity of Indian women online, they have crossed the 12 million mark, which is 32% of the total online population and this percentage has a potential to increase to 40% in the next 2 years which makes it a fast growing segment.”

He added, “Currently, 12% of the registered users on Zapak.com are girls and they aim to increase this percentage to 25%. Hence, we decided to create a site specially catering to the female audience and also provide features which would appeal to them. Zapakgirls.com is at a nascent stage right now and we will be adding more games and features on it on a regular basis depending on the initial response we get to those we already have online, to get the girls, and who knows, even the boys, hooked on.”
