Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to get Blood and Wine expansion on 31 May

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an open-world third person role playing game. Developed by CD Projekt Red, It is the third game in the Witcher franchise. The game is available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game was released in May 2015, and the first expansion, Hearts of Stone landed in October 2015. CD Projekt Red just announced the launch dates for the second expansion on Twitter.

CD Projekt Red has been teasing content for the Blood and Wine expansion on its Twitter feed for a while now. Apart from screenshots and updates regarding the development of the game, the developers also released a behind the scenes video from the recording session for the soundtrack of the Blood and Wine expansion.

Blood and Wine opens up a new area, that is beautifully designed. The environments are high medieval fantasy, with landscaped gardens and play areas full of noble men and ladies. There are “magnificent” wineries.

This land of summer, a remote hidden valley, looks like an idyllic medieval utopia. That is just a perfect set waiting to be torn apart by violent forces. The new area is referred to as the Kingdom of Virtue, and offers thirty hours of additional gameplay time. The update will also introduce the final quest line for the game.
