According to Sports Illustrated for kids (I have no clue they made that magazine for kids), Nintendo is planning to launch the Wii on the 6th of November 2006. This date does make sense as it would probably be in Nintendo’s best interest to launch their console before Sony unleashes their beast. is also reporting the exact same release date and claim they’ve received this tip-off from an “unnamed industry source”. Nintendo has yet to clear up all these rumors and “officially” announce any sort of date.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject.
