WickedLeak, the Mumbai-based Android device maker, has added a new tablet to its Wammy lineup with the Ethos Tab 3. The new 7-inch tablet is priced at Rs 10,990. Like many budget tablets launched in the last month, the Wammy Ethos Tab 3 also features dual-SIM functionality. The 7-inch display comes with a resolution of 1024x600 pixels. Under the hood, it comes powered by an All Winner A10 1.2GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, but there’s no word on any further updates. On the camera front, it comes equipped with a 5MP rear snapper and a 2MP front-facing camera. There is no word on the connectivity options that tag along with the device. The Ethos Tab 3 has 8GB of onboard storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot. All of this is fuelled by a 3,500 mAh Lithium Ion battery. Earlier this month, we’d seen a company called Oplus launch its 7-inch **XonPad tablet** with a similar specs sheet and we are sure more manufacturers will be bringing out tablets in this price range. But considering that the Nexus 7 (2012) has similar specs and is also **priced under Rs 10,000** , we wonder how these new tablets will fare in the market, or if they will be considered as options by potential buyers at all.
