It has been a couple of years since smartphone manufacturers have been vying for consumers’ attention in the premium category. The phones are getting bolder, better and bigger with a wide array of apps, more megapixels in a camera, better batteries, larger viewing area for enhanced multimedia experience, more of everything. However, not every phone brings along the best of all. Let us focus on the screens – not all are as big as you would want them to be but the phones with bigger screens come in clunkier models.

Why Lenovo Vibe Z is 2014's big screen entertainer

It has been a couple of years since smartphone manufacturers have been vying for consumers’ attention in the premium category. The phones are getting bolder, better and bigger with a wide array of apps, more megapixels in a camera, better batteries, larger viewing area for enhanced multimedia experience, more of everything.   However, not every phone brings along the best of all. Let us focus on the screens – not all are as big as you would want them to be but the phones with bigger screens come in clunkier models. And as much as we would love to have big full-HD display, we cringe at the prospect of owning bulky handsets, don’t we?   Every device does not bring along the best in class features. A smartphone offering a large viewing experience may not necessarily come fitted with a good rear and front camera. A phone with blazing processing speed, may not come equipped with an uber-portable form factor.   A phone with full HD 5.5 inch screen may not come with a with a never-say-die battery life offered by a 3000 mAh unit or 2 GB of RAM. It may also not necessarily bring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with a quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait processor. And finally, in a desired price range, one may not be able to find a smartphone with a USB OTG that allows you to access data from a pen drive. And, a phone with all the above features in a sleek form - 7.9 mm of thickness - is unimaginable.   Most of us fail in this great hunt for the dream smartphone. What we always end up buying is not a smartphone that we would really want, but a smartphone that is close enough to what we would really want. But Lenovo has managed to achieve the incredible feat of packing all the above features in its latest offering, the Lenovo Vibe Z.   Coming back to specs and performance, Lenovo Vibe Z is a firebrand of a smartphone with real power packed under the hood. Maximum utility and optimised Android 4.3 OS experience, the Vibe Z is aimed at giving a true blue multimedia experience. The Adreno 330 GPU allows you to indulge in some heavy duty action with 3D games. Its 13MP rear camera lets you shoot full HD videos and the 5 MP secondary camera allows you be a part of superior quality video calls and some really great selfies. The cameras are also well equipped to deliver quality (low noise pictures) even in low-light conditions. [caption id=“attachment_220174” align=“alignnone” width=“640”] ![The whole package](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/4_lenovo-vibe-z.jpg) The whole package[/caption]   One of Lenovo’s impressive features includes letting you open two different apps together on the same screen along with a floating video window, which means three apps running simultaneously on one screen. And protecting all your data in it are Lenovo’s very own security apps. Simply put, the Vibe Z not only offers remarkable hardware, but very capable software too.   Now, what is the point of having all the above features if the smartphone’s screen isn’t big enough to let you live the experience? Which is exactly why, the Vibe Z boasts a 5.5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. It comes with a protective layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and offers a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.   Vibe Z fits the bill perfectly when it comes to bringing alive the smartphone experience, thanks to the large display and the great hardware that has been designed to deliver big screen entertainment.   This is a sponsored story.
