Exactly a month ago, we reported that the white iPhone 4 can be expected ’this spring’ according to a tweet by Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, Phil Schiller. Now, a new report says that the white iPhone 4 will be available in a few weeks. In the US, carriers, AT&T and Verizon will start selling the phone by the end of April. The release was stalled for so long because of manufacturing problems Apple was facing. According to a source close to the matter, the paint peeled in the heat.

It’s coming closer
Now, the big caveat with the white iPhone 4 coming out now is that everyone expects the iPhone 5 to come out this June as per tradition. However, sources close to the matter say that Apple’s not going to unveil the next iPhone at the developers’ conference, instead, they’ll most likely unveil iPhone 5 in September. So it seems investing in the white iPhone 4 may not be a total waste if you’re really into it. However, would you rather hang on to see if Apple releases a white iPhone 5? Paddy does not, we repeat, definitely does NOT belong in the category of Mac-head (yeh right!). She does get excited by her iPhone and her iMac and her iPod Nano and her Macbook and Bali's iPad and her future iHouse (patent pending). Ok, so maybe her head is a little bit forbidden fruit shaped. She likes shooting video (iPhone 4 camera zindabad!) and editing montages (Final Cut Pro zindabad!), whether the scene calls for it or no. In her spare time, she's either kicking it on stage with KB the keyboard or kicking butt at Taekwondo.
