WhatsApp voice calling for Windows Phone 'still in the works'

After **Android users received WhatsApp calling** and iOS users are said to receive it in the  **'coming weeks'** , Windows Phone users will soon receive WhatsApp voice-calling for their devices as well. According to WM Poweruser, WhatsApp support team has now confirmed that the company is working on bringing the feature to Windows Phone OS devices also. In an emailed reply to a Windows Phone user, WhatsApp support team revealed the news and said that, WhatsApp Calling for Windows Phone is “still in the works”. The mail also mentioned that the team cannot comment on any future release timelines. The team voiced their appreciation to the user for taking interest in WhatsApp calling too. According to an earlier **report** , WhatsApp co-founder Brian Acton stated at the Facebook F8 conference that the messaging service is preparing to bring the voice calling feature to iOS users in the coming weeks. It is known that some tech enthusiasts have already found out ways to activate voice calling on iPhones. However, that requires jail breaking the iPhone. WhatApp voice calling feature, which is now **available to all Android users** started rolling out at the end of March. To activate the feature, download version 2.11.528 from the Play Store or version 2.11.531 from the WhatsApp website. Once you have the latest version, voice-calling ability can be activated by receiving a call from someone whose voice-calling is already activated.
