Several iOS, Android and Windows Phone users were complaining about the messaging app being very slow or not working at all. However, looks like, not everyone suffered from the outage and was limited to specific regions. According to TechCrunch, some users have reported seeing a message that reads “Sorry, our service is experiencing a problem right now. We are working on it and hope to restore the functionality shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience.” It was the second outage since **Facebook acquired WhatsApp** for a whopping $19 billion last month. WhatsApp founder Jan Koum has soon **issued an apology** and blamed a network router for Saturday’s outage of the mobile messaging app.
