What's new about participating on Firstpost

Dear Readers,

Like we’ve said in the past, comments on Firstpost have been non-stop. We’ve had numerous things to say about everything around us and you’ve out-written us, both with compliments, arguments and abuses. We’ve enjoyed the first two more than the last. Irrespective, we’re certain that discussion is a key way in which we will cover news and get to the big picture, the full picture.

Therefore, after evaluating all aspects of the older commenting system, we’ve chosen to upgrade to the newer Disqus platform for the following reasons:

As participants you will be able to

1. Share your comments or the thread on facebook or twitter
2. Vote a comment up or down, not just ’like’ it as in the past
3. Use the ‘Discussion’ drop down to sort comments in discussion based on Best, Newest or Oldest - therefore read and react to all aspects of the discussion
4. Hide or expand comments within the discussion stream
5. Read an entire back and forth within a discussion as nestled comments
