Remember Area 51, Midway’s rehash of one of their earlier titles of the same name? Well, you may not be surprised to find out that there’s a sequel in the works called (wait for it…) Area 52; how’s that for originality? In case you didn’t give a crap about the game then, I’m pretty sure you won’t change your mind now, but I suggest giving it a shot because even though the voice acting and plot were weaker than a geriatric old man, the gameplay was rock solid. Nothing’s known about the plot as of now, but expect a lot of aliens. In addition to Area 52, Midway is developing a game called Criminal for next gen consoles, namely the 360 and the PS3 (developers haven’t been taking too kindly to the Wii I see). None of this has been officially announced by Midway (it’s all based on information available on their job-listing page), so we’ll have more on those titles later on.

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now. see more
