Wi-Fi TV Inc. has introduced a new web site, which will merge live TV, social networking and the Internet with a unique design and enhanced personal, interactive features. The site plans to do a webcast, introducing its development partners and guiding users through the new web site at the time of launch, which is due before March 30, 2007.
Alex Kanakaris, Chairman of Wi-Fi TV Inc said, “The new Wi-Fi TV design, new Wi-Fi TV personal user controlled interactive features, new Wi-Fi TV virtual TV screen, and enhanced Wi-Fi TV content throughout the site will be the biggest evolution of Wi-Fi TV since the Company was launched twelve years ago. This will truly be the culmination of such efforts by Wi-Fi TV as the first full-length movie online in December 1995, the first video to PocketPCs, the first online text where you could change the type size and turn pages without scrolling, and other online video innovations.”
The new Wi-Fi TV site, which will be available globally, will be free to the consumer (except for any premium channels or services), and will employ a video advertising server that can target online video ads to each individual user. Wi-Fi TV also introduced the latest generation of its Wi-FiTVPhone, powered by AdCalls, which offers a free virtual dialer and free (ad-supported) phone calls in the United States, Canada, England and Australia, as well as global PC-to-PC calls.
