Watch out Flipkart! Amazon's Great Indian Festive sale coincides from Oct 13 to 17

Soon after Flipkart announced its Big Billion Day Sale from October 13 - 17, Amazon has followed suit with its Great Indian Festive sale to take place on the same dates. And it’s customers who stand to benefit the most. As we mentioned earlier, Flipkart will opt for an app-only strategy for this year’s shopping sale. However, Amazon is geared up to attract users via app, mobile site as well as desktop! However, take take on Flipkart’s ‘pehle app’ promotion, Amazon has decided to announce app-only deals on Oct 16 and 17.  Besides, Amazon also offers HDFC cashback – 15 percent on app transactions and 10 percent on browser transaction. It’s an immense opportunity for ecommerce players to take on their rivals in the fight for a slice of a larger market share, considering the festive season is just around the corner and e-commerce industry has been capturing everyone’s attention. While Flipkart is expected to ramp up its preparations to ensure everything goes smooth, Amazon has released some tips to help customers shop effortlessly.
