Watch Dogs goes up for pre-order at Amazon.in; ULC codes up for grabs

Amazon’s India marketplace has launched a new category within its Video Games store, which was launched last year. The ‘Pre-orders & New Releases’ mini-store will give gamers a chance to book some of the most awaited games of the year. Amazon is giving those who pre-order games “access to exclusive content and merchandise for the new titles.”   The games on pre-order range from those releasing in the next few months to those about to hit stores at the end of the year. It features games for all platforms.   Watch Dogs scheduled to release on 27th May globally is the first major game to go on pre-order on the site. In addition, Batman Arkham Knight scheduled for an October release and Tom Clancy’s The Division, scheduled to release later this year. Amazon says its the first retailer to introduce pre-orders for Watch Dogs, one of the most anticipated games of the year.   The game will be available on Windows, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles. The retailer is offering three Unlockable Content codes free, through its seller GamesTheShop, for those who pre-order. The ULCs give access to the X2 Pack (which includes Dedsec Pack & Chicago South Pack), the Cyberpunk Player Pack and the Untouchables Pack.   The PS4 version has been priced at Rs 3,499, while the PS3 version of the game has a price tag of Rs 2,999. The PC version will be available for Rs 1,799, while the Xbox 360 edition will cost you Rs 2,999. There’s no mention of the Xbox One version of the game yet, as **the console will only be launched in India later this year** .
