There were reams of complicated sounding equations. There was applause and whistling. There were cheers and even tears. The God Particle exists!
All that was missing was a triumphant song. And then it turned out that there was one.

And it is interpreted by the CERN Choir, performing in the CERN Control Centre. (Yes they even have a choir)

Were so fundamental and not accidental
They got sentimental when thinking of Higgs
