According to the Hollywood reporter, Blizzard has entered a (gazillion dollar) deal with Legendary Studios to produce a movie set in the Warcraft universe. The movie won’t be based on any of the particular games per say, but may refer to the series for story material. The movie will be a live action movie with real actors and not a CGI flick (which would have rocked actually since Blizzard’s opening sequences are mind-numbingly gorgeous) and will feature Orcs, Elves, Trolls and the Undead (I hope you’re listening Pete). Blizzard chief, Paul Sams says he wanted to make a movie that took place in the Warcraft universe since a long time but apparently never found any one that truly understood their franchise.
