Want porn on your Xbox One? There's a new app for that

If the only thing holding you back from buying an Xbox One was the lack of porn, fret not! SugarDVD has announced that it has found a way to bring its content on to the next-gen console. According to Digital Trends , SugarDVD uses Internet Explorer in Xbox One to access content, and it requires a monthly subscription. The company couldn’t make a native app since Microsoft, for obvious reasons, doesn’t endorse it.

Despite having developed apps for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and Xbox 360, the company has decided to pick the Xbox One as its platform of choice. “The PS4 is great, but if we’re purely talking adult content … the Xbox One is superior,” said Rebecca Bolen, a rep for SugarDVD.

The Kinect controls aren’t as distasteful as you might think. Users can use gesture controls to navigate the app, and the gestures are more-or-less the same as on the Xbox One dashboard. The app also works with Xbox One’s snap feature, which essentially means that you can multitask with it on.

“Simply put, the Xbox One is a gateway for porn of the future,” SugarDVD CEO Jax Smith said. “The PS4 is pretty, but Xbox One allows for more seamless integration and a more interactive experience.”

SugarDVD has a history of jumping on to new platforms as soon as possible. Back in September, a couple of days after Valve announced SteamOS came an announcement from SugarDVD proclaiming support for the platform . “Our apps have had no problem reaching gamers through Xbox and Playstation, and so far, the gaming community loves our apps,” Smith said while announcing it. “It’d be foolish not to develop for Valve’s new venture.”
