Vu 65” 3D LED TV has one of the lowest power consumption in India in the largescreens category. This is because the Vu TV uses only 60–65 LED lights. Each of these LED lights fitted beneath the panel has 5–6 NITS of brightness, which is far higher than the other Televisions in the market and gives an “Energy Saving Star”. True Motion technology is a Vu developed motion compensating technology to enhance clarity in fast moving images. This technology is achieved by inserting in-between video frames at now twice the rate of 100Hz technology, further clarifying moving images. In India, the video standard is a 50Hertz signal, therefore, by interpolating extra frame between every pair of frames in the signal, the display will run at high refresh rate reducing motion blur.

The 65” LED TV’s screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, 1:1 pixel mapping and an A+ Grade Panel with ZBD. The viewing angle of the Vu TV is 178 by 178 degree.

Vu is the first one to introduce DVBT in its Television sets, which will enable the TV to catch the cable directly from the Satellite without the need of any DTH/Operators. This function will be active in the Vu TV, as soon as India launches its Direct Cable Satellite. The Vu TV also comes with a built in Wi-Fi, which turns the TV into a browser.

“The ‘SuperSize’ Televisions are a revolution in the domain of large size televisions in India. With the demand growing for larger screens in the market, we decided to launch this category right before the upcoming festive season in India. Suitable for corporate as well as consumer use, Vu 65” Television has been designed in such a manner that it consumes the least amount of power despite its large size. The Vu 65” LED Television is very competitively priced as compared to other products in the same category from other brands.” says Devita Saraf, CEO, Vu Technologies.

The Vu 65” LED TV can also be upgraded to Super TV equipped with an in-built PC.  The TV allows streaming for a wide variety of movies, TV shows, videos and music from Netflix and Amazon Video on Demand. Additionally, Vu’s Super TV comes packaged with a wireless keyboard for using the TV in PC mode and 3D glasses for viewing 3D content on the TV. As an added privilege, all of Vu’s Super TV television sets are devised in a way that makes them upgradable in the future. For example, if a customer prefers more feature additions, the already existing mechanisms allow for these changesto be made—a feature no other provider offers.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns. see more
