Luxury television brand, Vu Technologies has announced the launch of their newest offering, the Vu 3D camera, adding to its existing stable of high-end luxury televisions and display solutions. According to the company, the market is full of 3D TVs, but there is very little content other than Avatar, etc. for the viewers. The Vu 3D camera can be used on any 3D TV and can be used as a handycam as well as a still lens. An easy to use and readily available at all Vu store across the country, the Vu 3D camera is the first of its kind in India.
With the Vu 3D camera, users can capture 3D HD movies and still photographs in real time with its dual lens-dual sensor (DLDS) technology, a feature which is not available in conventional digital cameras. The Vu camera has an integrated 3D display, which does not require any glasses to view 3D videos and photographs. Users can shoot high-resolution 3D photos and movies with 3D Auto. The 3D camera comes with two 16-megapixel sensors. It has the capability to connect to an HD TV via HDMI cable and allows for live streaming of video in 3D and 2D. The device also comes with a 32GB expandable SD card slot.

Second, conversion of 2D to 3D in conventional 3D TV doesn’t really give the real effect of 3D. With the new Vu 3D camera, one can create their own real-life true 3D content, capturing family vacations, parties, events, occasions, birthday parties or just everyday photo and video clicking. The lightweight body makes it easy to carry along wherever one goes. The camera also allows you to create your own short film in true 3D without the expense of costly and bulky 3D camera setups. On-the-fly 3D to 2D switch allows capture of 2D FULL HD 1080p videos and high resolution 16 MP photos as well.
The Vu 3D camera is priced at Rs.19, 900 and is available at Vu stores across the country.
