Vivo, on 22 January, in a silent launch,
unveiled the Vivo Y98 in China. The device has been priced at CNY 1,598 which is about Rs 16,800, for the lone 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage variant. Vivo Y89: Specifications and Features
The new Vivo device features a 6.26-inch Full HD Plus LCD multi-touch display, and the weight of the device is 149 grams. The display has a notch, which houses the front camera. The Y89 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 626 chipset, coupled with 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB internal storage. There is no other storage variant. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256 GB using a microSD card. In terms of optics, the device has a dual camera set up at the back with a 16 MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 2 MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The front facing camera is a 2 MP snapper with an aperture of f/2.0. The camera has the following shooting modes: professional mode, panorama, beauty, AR shoot, backlight photo, blur photo and slow motion. **Android 8.1 Oreo** runs the device, and it is powered by a 3,260 mAh battery. To unlock the device, you can use both facial recognition and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Finally, it is available in two colours: Aurora and Black Gold.
