Just days before the launch of the Vivo X9S and X9S Plus smartphone, the company has released the official press renders of the X9s Plus variant of the smartphone. The renders were first obtained by Playfuldroid. The official renders reveal a dual camera set-up in the front and will be made available in three colour variants - Gold, Pink, and Matte Black. It is available for pre-order on JD.com ahead of its flash sale on 8 July, 2017.
According to an alleged poster first spotted by Android Headlines, the X9S will be having a Snapdragon 652 SoC which comes with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A72 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz and a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz. The phone will feature Adreno 510 GPU. The X9S Plus will be having a Snapdragon 653 SoC with more or less the same specs as the X9. The Vivo X9S Plus will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and features a 5.85-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display.
Both the phones will be having 64 GB of built-in storage. The front dual cameras are said to include a 20-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor. The Vivo X9S Plus surfaced earlier this year in May when it was discovered that it was certified by TENAA, though the images of the X9S Plus in that certification don’t how any of the three colors that are shown in these renders, and instead appears to be more of a silver color, so it’s possible that Vivo could be planning a fourth color option for this device.
