Vivo V5 Plus with dual selfie camera to launch in India on January 23

Vivo is going strong with its selfie game. It recently launched the V5 smartphone in India with a 20MP front camera aiming at consumers who are looking for a selfie-centric smartphone. During the launch, the company had teased that it will be launching the V5 Plus at a later period which would feature a dual front camera setup. The company has confirmed that it will be launching the smartphone on 23 January as it has started sending out press invites for the launch event. This would be the second camera to offer a dual front camera - **Lenovo Vibe S1** was the first. Apart from that, we are assuming that most of the features could be similar to the V5 which was launched in India back in November 2016. In the camera department it offers a 13MP sensor on the back while a 20MP sensor on the front takes charge of capturing selfies. The camera on the back features a soft-LED flash and PDAF (phase detection autofocus). The smartphone also features a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button, 4G LTE bands support, dual-SIM card slot, and a 3,000mAh battery. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 2.6 skin on top. You can check out a detailed analysis of the Vivo V5 over here .
