Vivo V3 gets a price cut of Rs 3,000, now available at Rs 14,980

Vivo, the Chinese smartphone maker, has officially announced a price cut for its recently launched smartphone, the V3. The new price of the smartphone stands at Rs 14, 980 which is Rs 3000 less from the original price of Rs 17,980. The smartphone was first showcased in India back in April along with the V3 Max. The specifications of the V3 include a 5-inch HD (1280x720) display along with an Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 32GB and can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. There is a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and PDAF along with an 8MP front facing camera. The smartphone also offers a fingerprint scanner at back, which Vivo claims unlocks the device in 0.2 seconds. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop based FunTouch OS 2.5, the device includes connectivity features such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. A 2,550mAh battery provides juice to the handset. It is VoLTE enabled as well and according to the company it is compatible will all the Indian network bands. Recently the company announced the X7 and X7 Plus in China, which are two similar looking smartphones running on the latest Snapdragon 652 chipset.
