Vivo’s flagship phone
Vivo NEX
was announced with much fanfare as being the first phone with a mechanical front camera slider system and having one of the highest screen-to-body ratios on a smartphone. Quite clearly Vivo wants to release a sequel to the phone soon enough. It seems the first alleged teaser for the device has been leaked. [caption id=“attachment_5656531” align=“alignnone” width=“1280”] Vivo NEX 2.[/caption] The Vivo NEX 2 is what it is being called although there is no confirmation if the company wants to call it that. In any case, the phone in the teaser is shown to have in-display fingerprint scanner just like the first NEX phone. The phone, however, features a triple camera system which is said to have a time of flight sensor used for 3D face recognition.
The main attraction happens to be the double screen that is present on the phone’s back which is quite similar looking to the recently announced Nubia X. A report by GizmoChina states that the phone is said to have the highest screen-to-body ratio of any smartphone until now at 95 percent. There is no front camera on the NEX 2 which would mean that selfies would have to be taken using the primary sensors. We also expect the top of the line specs to be present in the phone such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8150 chipset and up to 10 GB of RAM. If this teaser is accurate then we should see a launch date announced for the smartphone in a couple of weeks or maybe next month.
