As the days go by, more details keep popping up regarding Samsung’s second wave of Galaxy A series handsets. So far leaks or rumours have revealed few details about the 2016 Galaxy A3 but there is plenty of news about the mid-range A5.
A user agent profile (UAProf) as revealed by a Hungarian website confirms that the 2016 Samsung Galaxy A5 does indeed stick to the HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display similar to its predecessor. However, whether the display’s size also sticks is something that we will have to wait for until the next leak.
So far details leaked out in the past have revealed that the Galaxy A5 packs in a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. Inside, we can expect a Samsung Exynos chipset clocked at 1.6 GHz and 2 GB of RAM, which is a contrast compared to the current range of Qualcomm-powered Snapdragon 410 chipsets. Also expected is 16 GB of internal storage and a 13 MP camera with an LED flash on the back paired with a 5 MP unit up front.
Just yesterday, Samsung’s Galaxy A9 went official when it appeared the company’s Iran website. Being the biggest of the A series family, it packs in a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 chipset coupled with 3 GB of RAM. There is a 16 MP AF camera as the primary while a 5 MP unit takes care of selfies.
